5 Reasons for a Project Management and CRM System

I’m coming at ya will full force today on 5 reasons to love a CRM or project management based tool!

Let’s break this down quickly:

  • CRM = CRM actually stands for Customer-Relationship Management. And CRM is an approach to manage a company's interaction with current and potential customers.

  • Project Management = Project management is the practice of initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing the work of a team to achieve specific goals and meet specific success criteria at the specified time.

How to Maximize an Appointment Scheduler

I can only speak for myself, but I think the invention of appointment scheduling software is one of the best tools created on the market. And the small amount you might pay per month made it one of the best investments I made early on in my business.

You see, early in my business, I was working for a combination of 3 different jobs. and I don’t mean clients, I mean JOBS. And no - my schedule each week varied due to the nature of work I was doing! Some weeks had a flow and other weeks had long periods of time without WIFI to work on pretty blooms. It also meant I couldn’t schedule appointments (even for an hour) on these days because I was under a major time crunch!

How to Tackle the Daily Tasks: The Short List

I like the number "3" in my daily life. It's the trifecta of awesomeness, not too much and not too little. So, I create a short list each day to work on the core tasks in my business.

I'm all about bridging efficiency into my life, and setting realistic expectations for myself that are achievable. I want to leave my business days proud of the job I accomplished, and sometimes just saying I can shut down the computer when I finish my tasks and play outside is a worthwhile investment.

The Revenue First Model

Spoiler alert: There are a lot of business owners leaving money on the table. And not because they’re priced incorrectly…. it’s because they HATE writing proposals.

I will admit, I’m kind of a junkie for proposal writing. I like to see how efficiently I can do it, and to see if that impacts the result of the client experience (for most of my coaching clients, it absolutely does)!
